The design-build process allows for full execution of the "team concept".

RICOP Construction Co.will work closely with the owner to determine the scope of the project, construction methods and the target budget. The design-build process works closely with key subcontractors and consultants from conceptual design throughout completion of the construction drawings and specifications. Plans and specifications are reviewed in detail with the key trades to determine actual costs and alternate design and material selections are made early in the process. Continuous review of real world costs by the owner and design-build team assures a project design remains within budget and is completed on time.

When time is of the essence and controlling cost is paramount to the success of the project, it’s important that we are involved at this stage. We are able to select the best methods and materials, and ensure that we are on top of the varying construction costs.

The design / build process is enhanced by RICOP’s experience with value engineering, estimating, scheduling and constructability. With RICOP’s involvement from the beginning of the construction process, clients get the

building they want - on time - on budget.

RICOP Construction Co, as the General Contractor Partner of your design-build  team will be responsible for :

1.       Reviewing construction material, processes and methods as they will effect

      quality, price and schedule.

2.       Co-ordinate materials and methods by early input from suppliers and sub-contractors to insure availability and  long term viability.

3.       Develop a schedule that will continually monitor the results of design and construction decisions to insure that the facilities are ready on time.

4.       Produce detail budgets for review so that decisions or recommendations will be evaluated with costs associated with them. This will give flexibility to design and insure that cost controls are maintained.

5.       Look for possible methods to incorporate “Technology Integration.” Both now and for future Phases.
