GREEN ‘LEED’ER
We take great pride in many of our achievements; particularly our ongoing efforts to incorporate sustainability into our business plan by embracing opportunities to leverage our renewable resources more efficiently and doing our part to reduce the overall impact of construction on the environment.
From energy conservation in our offices and establishing recycling stations at our jobsites to the increase in "Green Building" designs that utilize solar lighting and renewable materials, we are committed to inspiring action. It is our goal to reduce waste and be proactive recyclers on all of our projects; whether they are being certified or not.
Moreover, we are advocates of environmentally-friendly products and encourage their use wherever possible.
LEED CERTIFIED TEAM MEMBERS AND INTERNAL GREEN TEAM
Our attention to detail and obsession with pleasing clients is without parallel, as is our dedication to “Live Green, Think Green, Build Green.” A handful of RICOP Construction team members are in various stages of becoming LEED Accredited Professionals in order to ensure that projects get certified accordingly.
We have also developed our own internal ‘Green Team’ to help educate clients and empower the rest of our team to become more earth conscious in their daily activities.
Our Green Team and LEED AP's continue to guide us on our journey by encouraging renew-reuse-recycle efforts, purchasing eco-friendly products, supporting local conservation and waste removal programs, coordinating drives for local shelters and hosting internal workshops—all benefiting the community and environment.
